It looks like it’s going to be an interesting day south of the border. If this report is accurate, the Republicans are quickly looking for a successor to Fascist General Alberto Franco Gonzales. Do I smell a resignation in the wind? No Dan, I don’t think they’ll go with Patrick Fitzgerald – my money’s on Michael Chertoff. (Heckuva job!)

What I find interesting is the conflicting signals coming from the White House. While they are casting about for possible candidates to replace Gonzo, they are affirming their support for him as well. Can anyone say “Donald Rumsfeld”?
