Also: This was one of their “good” bishops (as opposed to all those ABs, cardinals, and popes who used to deny that such a terrible thing could ever have happened), credited with pushing for a monetary settlement for the scores of previously abused children out there. Whoops. Dropped the football there, didn’t the church?
